It was simply a very BLESSED day that would be difficult - if not impossible, to describe in words. Hopefully, the PHOTOS and VIDEOS will help give you a pretty close idea of what really did happen.

THE "KONTRI MARRET" PROPER: THE RITUAL
This Compilation of snippets above depicts the actual Wedding Ritual as it unfolds:
- The Bride is escorted to her Father, VEILED.
- Her Father asks her to affirm her decision to get married.
- Upon that affirmation, he takes a sip of palm wine from a cup, gives it to her and asks her to go find the Groom in the crowd and give him the cup.
- She searches for the Groom in the crowd and when she finds him she kneels down in front of him and hands him the cup.
- He drinks the palm wine, puts a symbolic amount of money in the cup and gives it back to her.
- They both then dance their way back to get a Blessing from BOTH their Fathers.
- They are then officially declared HUSBAND & WIFE!
